The poem below was shared by one participant in my workshop on the theme of “Procrastination – Now or Never”. She shares it here with her full permission.
Sunlight creeps along a shining floor.
Sunlight radiates through glass
and rainbows dance upon the wall.
Your presence is felt and uplifts
my downward day.
Yellow light fills the room and accentuates
curious corners. Shady shadows diminish.
Warmth is felt and the sharp cold edge
has melted the long hours
of my downward day.
Moments, minutes no longer interrupt time,
but pass sweetly on.
