Amazing who comes to visit when you\u2019re least expecting them,
and not only that wonder, they bring a message for you to unravel,
make sense of and understand what is being said.
I had just laid down my pen, sitting at my desk
with the endless words flowing, I felt relieved but tired.
It had been one of those productive mornings.
I heard a screaming demanding call as if to say listen to me.
I swivelled around quickly on my cosy computer chair.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
To one side of me, looking straight at me with big brown eyes
was the most beautiful looking bird, a visitor whose red feathers shone
in the brilliant midday sun with the light behind him.
I froze, not wanting him to go, staring into his eyes,
before he took off, first to the west, then eastward bound.
Oh, if I could relive that magical moment, savour the feeling,
the tremor of surprise, the wake-up call, bringing me back to myself.
He was offering me something of importance, pay attention now.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
An ordinary day changed to extraordinary as I searched for the meaning
Of the unexpected message given by this powerful, strong bird.
Is it telling me to live life in perspective, freeing excess baggage,
Shedding limitations, leaving self-doubt behind, change my environment,
take charge of a situation, have courage, abandon obstacles, gain control, prosperity.
The lessons I have learned about the hawk messenger
appearing from the spiritual realm are immense.
It has taken hold of my imagination, my inner thoughts.
A wonderful, joyous place for a writer to be!<\/h6>\n\n\n
